Introduction

Trees are one of the greatest blessings of Allah, serving countless purposes for human life and the environment. From providing oxygen and shade to preventing soil erosion and supporting biodiversity, trees are essential to survival. Unfortunately, rapid deforestation and urbanization have disrupted the ecological balance and contributed to global warming.

Inspired by the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and with the intention of Sadaqah Jariyah, our Tree Plantation Program aims to restore greenery, protect the environment, and ensure a healthier, more sustainable future.

Program Approach

  1. Mass Plantation Campaigns: Planting fruit, shade, and medicinal trees in rural and urban areas.
  2. Community Engagement: Encouraging families, students, and local communities to take ownership of planted trees.
  3. Economic Sustainability: Providing fruit-bearing and income-generating trees to poor households for long-term benefits.
  4. Environmental Protection: Supporting biodiversity, reducing air pollution, and combating climate change through afforestation.

“If a Muslim plants a tree or sows seeds, and then a bird, or a person, or an animal eats from it, it is regarded as a charitable gift (Sadaqah) for him.” – Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)
